59th Annual Willow State Winter Carnival
Snowmobile Events
Snowmobile enthusiasts will find plenty of opportunities to play at this year’s Willow State Winter Carnival. Whether your passion lies in pushing the limits of shear speed, leisurely exploring the trails, riding hard on a snow cross course, vintage machine viewing, or team navigation, this year’s carnival has it all with the following events on February 1st, 2020. Bring your sleds and pick a few to participate in or try them all out!

Poker Run
Explore Willow area trails and collect playing cards at specific points along the route. Take your time and enjoy the scenery and trail or hurry back by noon and try your luck at the Radar Run and Blind Driver Race. The winning poker hands split entry fees!
Registration: WACO table in the Main Hall at the Community Center. Be sure to pick up a map!
Entry Fee: $10 per person to gather cards.
Age Restrictions: None
Awards: Entry fees are split among winning hands.
Blind Driver Race
A challenging course of twists and turns and it is up to your passenger to keep you on track with only verbal instruction allowed!!! This is a timed run with the penalty of time added for bumping cones or running off course.
Registration: At the WACO table in the main hall.
Entry Fee: $2 per run
Age Restrictions: All participants under 18 will be required to have a parent present and a waiver signed by that parent.
Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place share a portion of the entry fees collected.
Radar Run
Test the limits of your sleds by speeding down a 1,000 foot groomed snow track. Anyone can sign up. Ten dollars gets you five runs on the snow. See just how fast your sled goes. Top speeds win a share of the entry fees (see Awards below).
Registration: WACO table in the Main Hall at the Willow Community Center.
Entry Fee: Minimum $10 for 5 runs – Then $2 per run.
Age Restrictions: All participants under 18 will be required to have a parent present and a waiver signed by that parent.
Awards: A $100 minimum payout for top speed of the day and a $20 minimum payout for top speed in all remaining classes.
Please be advised this is not a professional event and is intended to be a family fun event geared towards stock sleds. All are welcome but modified sleds will be grouped into one open class. We reserve the right to place you in any class we see fit.

Alaska State Sno-x Lions Club Snocross/Freestyle
Run a snocross/freestyle circuit for athletes of all ages. Have opportunities to advance and excel with professional guidance on a circuit designed around safety and fun.
