Community Center

How to find us

The WACO office in the Center may be reached on 495-6633. If you need access (outside of scheduled meetings/events) please call/email Norm Wakeman to make an appointment (number below). In the last two years the center has been completely refurbished. New paint, carpet, stage curtains, roof and exterior siding (June 2007).

The rear of the Center has the picnic area and pavilion, a children’s play area with climbing equipment and a volley ball court.

Stage Renovation

Renovation is now complete, thanks to an anonymous donation for new curtains, help from Spenards Builders Supply and labor from many volunteers. While this picture does not do the stage justice, it does show the Tai Kwon Do team at the 2007 Carnival

Community Center Use

Use of the Community Center is free[1] for WACO Committees, recognized Community Groups and activities that are part of the Community Enrichment Program. Other groups or charities may also be eligible for free or reduced rental—contact the Vice Chair or one of the PFC members.

For weddings, reunions, business meetings etc., the Center may be rented by the day or hour.
