New Business
Willow Elementary Swimming Program.
MOTION: Roni Widner moved that WACO contribute $1000 to the Willow Elementary Scool swimming program. The motion was seconded.
VOTE: The motion passed with no objection.
Help for the Vice Chair.
MOTION: Pat Madigan moved that $1000 from the SWM reserve be used to pay for help with scheduling and maintenance of the building. Motion was seconded.
VOTE: The motion passed with no objection.
Use of Emergency Sheds.
MOTION: Roni Widner moved that the policy regarding the Emergency sheds be accepted as presented. Motion was seconded.
VOTE: The motion passed with no objection.
Nominating Committee.
The seats up for election in April are Chair, Secretary, NE Rep + Alt and SW Rep Alt. The Chair needs to set up a Nominating Committee.
Areas for Area Reps.
The description of the areas for the Area Reps does not match the map, both of which are in the bylaws. A change to the bylaws regarding Area Reps will be put on the agenda for the next general meeting.
Carnival Quilt.
Carol Young made a quilt from Carnival T-Shirts for WACO. The Iditaquilters finished it for us. It was decided to keep the quilt and not raffle it.
Junior Iditarod Banquet.
WACO was asked to bid on the Junior Iditarod Banquet. There was no interest.
