Freedom 4-miler and Kids 1K

Race time: 11 am (subject to change)- Start at Willow Community Center (mile 69.7 Parks Hwy.)or Willow Trading Post (TBA)
Come early to get registered, or pre-register by using this entry form (click on it): Entry_Form.pdf.
Print it out and mail it in with your entry fee.
Entry fee: $ 15 / kids under 16 free.
There will be a Kids 1K ! for 4 age groups:
preschool - kindergarden
1st - 2nd gr
3rd - 4th gr
5th - 6th gr
Prizes for all participants.
Race course is mostly flat, some pavement, some gravel roads.
The 1st Annual Willow Race Series got underway at the Winter Carnival February, 2008. There are a series of 6 races for runners and walkers happening over the year. A Willow organization will be promoted for each race. The races are sponsored by WHO. The MatSu Health Foundation gave us a grant to get the first race off the ground.

Willow Health Fair 5K/1K Adults/Kids (to benefit WHO) April 26th
Freedom 4 miler (to benefit Willow Veterans) July 4th
Red Shirt Lake Trail Run 6 miler (to benefit Willow Trails Committee) Aug. 2nd
Dog Dash 5K (to benefit Willow Dog Mushers—WDMA) Sept. 27th
Oktoberfest Run 5K/10K (to benefit the local Food Bank) Oct. 18th
