Dear Willow Residents,
We have a free Red Cross training available this week to help prepare our community to assist ourselves and our neighbors in the event of a disaster.
What: Red Cross Shelter Fundamentals Course
When: Saturday October 29th 10 am to 3 pm (with lunch break)
Where: Willow Community Center
Shelter Fundamentals is a free, basic level course that introduces the guidelines and procedures for setting up, running and closing a shelter during a disaster. It will include a drill of setting up a shelter with the Red Cross equipment and supplies currently stored at the community center.
Pre-registration is required for this training. If interested, please send an email to Brenda McCain brendalmccain@gmail.com or call Brenda at 355- 1418 by Tuesday October 25th.
