Snowmobile Trails Grant Program

The Willow Area Community Organization (WACO) fully supports the Willow Trails Committee’s application for a snowmobile Trails Grant to help fund the Willow Winter Trail Maintenance Project. The Willow Trails Committee (WTC) has been active for many years in providing safe and enjoyable trails to our residents and visitors. The last few years our community has seen rapid growth and with this growth has come the increasing use of our recreational trails. With the addition of the Iditarod Restart to our community, Willow is becoming the winter recreational capital of Alaska. In addition, the Willow Winter Carnival depends on the trails committee for the venue for many events. WACO appreciates and supports the efforts of the WTC to maintain our trails and encourages the SnowTRAC board to approve this important project for the next two years.
