To whom it may concern

On behalf of the people of Willow I have been authorized by the Willow Area Community Organization to write this letter of support for the project commonly known as Phase Two, Senior Housing. While this project is long term expecting to take 15-20 years to full completion of housing units, Senior Center and recreational park areas, it is time for us to begin our support. It is our understanding that Willow Area Seniors, Inc has turned in an application to buy 20 acres of Borough land at below market value on Willow Creek Park Way. This letter is offered in support of the application process for a pre-development grant.

The outcomes of the recent process to build the first senior housing units named Willow Haven have been very positive. It is a beautiful building in a scenic location. Each apartment seems spacious and comfortable with a warm atmosphere. There is a waiting list of potential tenants. We all have high hopes that this second process will be even more successful.

Willow is growing at a very rapid rate. No matter what proportion of this population is ready or soon ready to live in a location that is able to so thoroughly cater to the needs of our elders, the elder population will be growing. It is only wise and prudent to anticipate the growth of the need for good housing and to address it in this proactive manner.
