Assembly Representative’s Report
Vern Halter:
- MSB needs the list of local organizations, who may be interested in being included in the DOT permit that MSB may pay for next year.
- WACO needs to be aware of the Willow Airport Master plan, specifically with regars to the DOT permit to use Willow Lake for the Carnival.
- Roni Widner has been appointed to the Willow Fire Service Board of Supervisors.

- Budget for next year has a shortfall of $20,000.

- If there is a smell of propane at the Community Center, call the Fire Dept., because they have a detector.
- For the Junior Iditarod there were ham radio operators stationed at every one of the 8 checkpoints.

Linda Oxley:
- Mary Shreves has volunteered to Co-Chair the Carnival, so it needs another volunteer.
- The King & Queen and Gold Pan awards are being done after the fact by the Chamber of Commerce, the Lions & WACO.

MOTION: Dana Hills moved that WACO adopt the map that matches the definitions of the areas in the bylaws. Motion was seconded.

MSB Natural Resource Management Units..
MOTION: Norm Wakeman noved that WACO send the letter drafted by Steve Charles supporting the suggested designations, to MSB. Motion was seconded

Willow Clinic Grant.
MOTION: Dana Hills moved that the WACO Board ratify the action taken by the Chair in sending a letter of support for the Willow Clinic. Motion was seconded

Farmers Market.
The WHO are running a Farmers Market again this year, starting on the first Friday in July. The loaction has not been established.
Deep Clean WCC annually.
The Chair asked for assistance, financial and volunteers, with giving the Community Center a thorough cleaning.
