ACT for America.

Sue Rogers is forming a Willow chapter of ACT for America. The Board saw no reason why this group should not use the Community Center for free, so long as they fulfilled the requirements as set forth in the Policy pol-002.

Carnival Cash Flow.

The Treasurer pointed out a short term cash flow problem in January, where necessary expense exceeded cash available in preparation for the Carnival. The recommended solution is to—

  1. obtain Carnival donations as soon as possible;
  2. avoid cash purchases where practical (member credit card or bill WACO);
  3. secure a short-term loan for approximately $5,000 in the event that the above is insufficient.
The Board accepted all the Treasurer’s recommendations.

Caretaker’s Resignation.

Dave Norman has resigned as caretaker as of November 30, 2007. The Board decided to consider whether WACO needs a caretaker or not after the Carnival.
