Secretary’s Report
- MTA have funded the first year for the WACO website.
- Local organizations with members on the WACO Board have to provide telephone numbers for those members.

Treasurer’s Report
- Checks for refund of $25 Kitchen fees are available.
- The report for June/July was presented.
- Budget still not approved.
- The Carnival grant invoices have not been paid.

Vice-Chair’s Report
- Still waiting on a date for the new siding.
- Building will stay open even though we have no caretakers.

Chair’s Report
- The award for the best float in the July 4th parade was given to the Seniors.
- The letter of intent has been given to WHWF and a copy sent to MSB. The contract between WACO and WHWF is being drafted.
- Rich & Dee Pralle have resigned as caretakers, however they are keeping the contract for cleaning the library.
- WACO has hired the law firm Sedor, Wendlendt and Wang to handle the claim made by Rich & Dee Pralle for back wages.
- August 19 Lions Garage Sale, WACO Flea Market, WDMA Gear Swap
- Laurie Courtney is the Chair for the Arts & Crafts Fair in November.
- DOWL Engineers are starting a review process for MSB to cover all airports in the area.

- T-shirt design will go to the school as a contest.
- A letter soliciting prizes has been prepared for anyone to use.
- In October there will be an Octoberfest dinner ($5 ticket) and a money raffle.

- Summer projects - safe road crossings at the West Gateway.
- Fall project - develop the Central Trail, which is part of the Emil Stancec Trail System.
MOTION: Steve Charles moved that WACO adopt the Willow Area Trail Plan. Motion was seconded.

Unfinished Business
Willow Historical & Wildlife Foundation.
The following was brought forward from the previous meeting.
MOTION: Ted Smith moved and asked for unanimous consent that the WACO Chair send a Borough to negotiate with the Willow Historical and Wildlife Foundation for the purchase of land around the Old Community Building. The Chair asked if there were any objections to the motion and there were, so the motion was debated.
MOTION: Bill Arturburn moved to table (postpone) indefinitely the motion. The motion was seconded.
VOTE: The motion passed with 53 for and 37 against.

WACO Ad in Lions Calendar.
MOTION: It was moved that WACO pay $325 for the ad in the Lions calendar. Motion was seconded.
VOTE: Motion passed unanimously.
