Outhouse Challenge Rules

Entry Fee: $5

Prizes:

1. 1st place - $50.00 + trophy
2. 2nd place - $35.00 + trophy
3. 3rd place - $15.00 + trophy
4. Most original design - trophy
5. 1st place and most original will go on perpetual Trophy.

Rules:

1. Teams of 4 people. Any member under 18 must present a permission slip from their parent or legal guardian to participate. All members must sign a liability waiver.
2. The team may be family members, friends, a business, club or organization.
3. One member must ride inside the “Outhouse” and be seated on a seat.
4. No animals or motorized parts are permitted or allowed to help move the structure.
5. The “Outhouse” may not be carried at any time during the race - it must remain on the ground.
6. At the half way point you will stop and stay behind the designated line. At this time the rider in the “Outhouse” will open the door and run to a trash can and deposit ONE AT A TIME” empty toilet rolls. Upon depositing the last roll and then the bag the rolls were in, the rider must return to his/her “Outhouse”, sit down and have the door securely fastened before the team may continue to the finish line.
7. All members and the complete “Outhouse” (all parts) must cross the finish line for the team to have completed the race.

Design Specs:

1. 3 Walls and a Door
2. Roof and floor.
3. Seat for rider to sit on must be attached to “Outhouse”
4. Tall enough so rider can sit up straight
5. Floor space must be at least 24″ X 24″
6. No more than 6″ X 6″ may be cut out for a window.
7. May be constructed from any material.
8. May be mounted on wheels or skis
9. May be decorated in any fashion you choose.
