Rules/Procedure
The rules for both these events are similar. You leave the Community Center,
find the GPS or Map location indicated, pick-up a raffle ticket and proceed to
the next location. Collect four tickets and return to the Community Center for
the drawing.
GPS and Map points are at the same location; make sure you pick one only of the
raffle tickets from the bag marked for your event (bags are in a coffee can).
- Register at the Willow Community Center—
- $10.00 entry fee per individual participating;
- Sign the registration form absolving us from all possible injuries etc.;
- Complete Personal Information page (including emergency contacts) for all members in your party (even those not participating);
- Collect Coordinates (GPS) or map (Raffle) and a copy of these rules;
- Make your way to the designated points (GPS or Map) (no mass start);
- Collect one raffle ticket per contestant from the bag of tickets marked for your event;
- Return to the Community Center with the four tickets you have collected;
- Check in on return—we need to know you have returned safely; surrender your raffle tickets. Be sure to let the officials know that all members of your party are accounted for;
- The event will end at 3:30pm. If you are not back by them you cannot participate in the raffle.
There will be four drawings for the GPS run, and four drawings for the Raffle run.
Prizes will be cash based on a percentage of entry fees collected.
Check in on return. If you abandon your run part way, please let someone know at the Community Center (495–6633).
We don’t want teams looking for snow machiners who have gone home!
