Willow Area Community Organization

The core purpose of the WHO is Promoting Health Community.

Our mission is to serve the community by promoting healthy programs and activities in and around Willow. The focus is to serve the community as a bridge and a resource. To fulfill this mission we promote physical activity, good nutrition, reduced stress, a clean environment, and disease prevention. We strive to foster ideas from people and groups that support these goals.

    We value:
  1. Integrity
  2. Collaboration
  3. Wellness
  4. Community Relations
  5. Education

The WHO Board meets the second Tuesday of each month at 4:00pm at the Willow United Methodist Church.

Ola Williams serves as the current Board Chairperson. Contact her at 841-5651.

Our current activities include the Willow Farmers Market and the annual Willow Health Fair. In the past or currently we have partnered with the Willow Trails Committee, Willow Runners Club, Willow Area Seniors, WACO and Big Lake Clothing Closet.
