Willow CERT and 2 firefighters and 2 community members were trained in an 8 hour traffic flagging safety class Saturday March 19th by Northern Industrial Training. We all passed our exam!
Thank you to WACO for the grant so CERT can more safely assist with managing traffic in a disaster.
Our team will continue building our skills by taking a FEMA CERT class in Traffic and Crowd Management.

Willow Community Emergency Response Team (Willow CERT)
The Willow CERT program is a partnership between first responders and the Willow community. CERT training prepares CERT members to take care of themselves and others during large scale emergencies. The CERT program is a nation wide program that helps federal, state and local emergency services coordinate at the local community level in emergency situations such as wildfires, earthquakes and floods. The Willow CERT team is present at many Willow community events, like the July 4th parade, to help them build team work experience and promote safety.
Willow CERT meets the second Saturday of the month at various locations in Willow.
Current contact information can be found at either of the above locations.
